"Don't waste waste" - Kajsa Willner

Vanessa Gilbert, an interior designer by training, has always been drawn to the artistic world, imbued with creativity and freedom. Working in a furniture showroom, she felt the need to indulge more in manual creation, beyond weekend DIY. In 2018, she officially launched Vanessa Studio Art, focusing primarily on abstract creations due to their attraction to intriguing shapes and bright colors. Self-taught, she learned the art of abstract fluid painting, quickly turning her passion into a thriving business.

For five years, Vanessa has navigated the art world as a painter specializing in abstract fluid art. Her travels in Greece, Thailand and Mexico greatly influenced her work, giving birth to vibrant, abstract works, often inspired by landscapes seen from a unique perspective. His early creations have spawned numerous projects, including derivative products, artistic collaborations and commercial partnerships, contributing to his artistic evolution.

Towards the end of this period, Vanessa also shared her knowledge by teaching this technique to other art enthusiasts. In 2024, she decided to take a new turn, guided by her values and concern for the environment. Wishing to adopt a more minimalist and environmentally-friendly approach, she oriented Vanessa Studio Art towards sculptural art, emphasizing sustainability and overcycling.
