Preamble: I was inspired by the fluorescent colours of the tenth edition of Montreal's design and fashion magazine ''Mixte magazine''.(10 years already! | Mixte Magazine) Being an interior designer by training, I love to be inspired by the latest design trends. As for the name, it is the meaning of "phosphorus" in Spanish. It comes from the fact that I applied phosphorescent paint in the work, so it glows in the dark. I love using French words translated into Spanish as my partner is Mexican!

Vanessa Gilbert practices fluid abstract art. This technique consists of mixing acrylics with a fluid medium to obtain a viscous and slightly liquid texture. The mixed medium can then be poured directly onto the canvas or the desired support, such as a wooden panel, using a pot. The finish of the artist's paints is usually very glossy, however a new matte version is now available on request.
