The main material used in this work is perforated shipping cardboard, having served its original purpose. Vanessa's first sculptural piece, it is arranged in a diamond shape, emphasizing its three-dimensional quality. The artist explores monochromatic neutral tones for the first time. The wood-panel background is treated with a paste to achieve an imitation-lime finish.
